The Anti-Money Laundering role, and the associated responsibilities of financial services providers, has never been more important. Technological innovation, and recent ‘geo-political’ events, have created unprecedented challenges, and arguably irremovably changed the infrastructure of the financial system.  

 

In recognition of this evolving regulatory landscape, the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) recently advise an proposed amendment regarding the use of PCF-15 to reflect the increasing number of appointments of individuals to carry out an AML-role in its own right. The CBI has therefore confirmed that the introduction of a new PCF-52 – Head of AML/CFT.  

 

This webinar will review recent developments, and address the increasingly demand for risk, compliance, and specifically, AML/CFT professionals. The question is how do we meet this demand, and how do we create the ‘talent’ required to support Ireland as a location for financial service providers.

As head of PAT Fintech, Andrew actively collaborates with the diverse Fintech ecosystem - whether they be ‘new’ Fintech companies and/or an ‘incumbent/traditional’ Financial Institutions that are providing technologically enabled financial services/products – develop a range of training courses that are designed, and delivered, in conjunction with industry bodies, professional bodies, and experienced financial service professionals.  Prior to transitioning into education, Andrew had a broad experience of the financial services industry, including working for banks, hedge funds, an investment consultancy, and co-founding two Fintech related start-ups.

Kaitlin is an experienced Senior Vice President with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Kailin is a Subject Matter Expert in Financial Crimes including anti-money laundering, sanctions, fraud, and more, Proficient skills in risk assessments (including customer risk scoring), compliance testing, emerging trends, and AML technology implementations and validations. Kaitlin’s Bachelor of Science (BS) was focused in Criminal Justice: Economic Crime Investigation from Utica College; Juris Doctor (JD) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
