CENTRAL BANK OF IRELAND SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT WITH GERRY CROSS

On Monday, 21st February, Gerry Cross will provide our members with the latest insights from the Central Bank on a range of topics of particular relevance to the Compliance Professional which will be followed by a Q+A session.

We are delighted to announce that we will deliver this FREE CPD offering as a pilot hybrid event. This means that we will be able to accommodate a number of people that want to attend in-person in addition to offering this as a webinar. This will be the first opportunity to meet fellow members in-person again.

We will be hosting this CPD event in the Clayton Hotel, Cardiff Lane. The Conference Centre in the Clayton Hotel is fully compliant with COVID requirements which will allow for social distancing and has the most up-to-date air-conditioning and ventilation system.

There are a limited number of seats available for those that would like to attend in-person. Therefore, if you wish to attend in-person we would ask that you register for this event and then email [email protected] stating so before 12pm on Friday 18th February.

The first 90 respondents will receive a confirmation of attendance.  We would ask that you do not attend in person if you do not receive this confirmation.

Gerry Cross

Director of Financial Regulation - Policy and Risk

Central Bank of Ireland

Gerry Cross was appointed as Director of Financial Regulation - Policy and Risk in May 2015. He leads the Central Bank’s work on prudential and markets conduct regulatory policy and its supervisory risk framework (PRISM). Gerry is a member of the EBA Board of Supervisors and alternate member of the EIOPA Board of Supervisors. He co-chairs EBA’s Standing Committee on Regulation and Policy.

Gerry has had an extensive career in the area of financial services regulation. Before joining the Central Bank he worked at the European Commission, the UK Financial Services Authority, Fortis Group, the Institute of International Finance, and the Association for Financial Markets in Europe.
