Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform
Michael McGrath served as Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform since June 2020. He has been a T.D. for the Cork South-Central constituency since 2007. In 2011, Michael became Opposition Spokesperson on Public Expenditure and Financial Sector Reform, but also held the role of Spokesperson for Finance. He represented Fianna Fáil in talks on government formation in 2016 and 2020. In June 2020, following the formation of a coalition government between Fianna Fáil, the Green Party and Fine Gael, Michael was appointed Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.
