Influencing Skills for Compliance Professionals

The ability to influence can really impact our effectiveness in the workplace. Whether we need to gain support from stakeholders, inspire others or persuade people to implement a new process, influencing is a key skill. Often the people we need to influence are higher up the organisation or control more resources than we do and their decisions and actions are critical to our success. Given their shortage of time and attention we need to learn how to command their attention and get them to do what we need them to do.

This session will help you to understand the skills and techniques of influencing so that you can develop tactics most likely to get you what you want and need.
